Ordering

All product prices and specifications listed on this website are subject to change at any time. If you have placed an order and the price drops within 30 days of your order date, Grit Guardian will offer a credit for the difference upon request. Grit Guardian does not honor price change requests for orders placed more than 30 days prior to the price change.

Purchasing Protocol

All applicable federal, state, and local laws apply. All payments are processed immediately upon placement of order. It is the responsibility of the customer to know and comply with all applicable laws related to selling, transferring, possessing, transporting, or using a firearm, magazine, or ammunition in the locality in which the customer resides.

Grit Guardian reserves the right to cancel any order, at any time, for any reason.

Cancellations

Customer Cancellations

An order placed with Grit Guardian may be cancelled by the customer prior to the order having been shipped. All cancellation requests must be submitted through our Contact page or by email. You must provide the order number when contacting Customer Service.

If an order cannot be cancelled because it has already shipped, the customer must follow all applicable Return procedures. The return of any item will be at the customer's expense.

Cancelled orders may not be reversed. All cancellations are final. All sales of gift cards are final and cannot be refunded.

Company Cancellations

In some cases, Grit Guardian may need to cancel an order or part of an order. Grit Guardian will provide a refund for the amount of the cancelled portion of the order.

Returns

Except for items designated as nonreturnable, Grit Guardian will accept a return of an item for replacement (if available) or a refund of the purchase price, less original shipping and handling costs, provided such return is made within 30 days of the date of receipt.

Unless there is a defect or valid performance issue, returned items must be resalable (no wear or usage), in original packaging, and with all paperwork, tags, parts, and accessories. If the item is not returned in resalable condition, Grit Guardian may reject the return.

Customers must contact Customer Service before returning any item to obtain a Return Authorization. All returned items must be received by Grit Guardian prior to any replacement being shipped or refund being issued.

Refunds will be credited back to the same payment method used to make the original purchase.

Customers should carefully inspect all firearms prior to having the firearm transferred into their possession. Firearms (including lower receivers and frames) are not eligible for return after FFL transfer. If a defect is discovered after FFL transfer, the customer should contact the manufacturer directly to submit a warranty claim.

Non-Returnable Items

All sales of the following items are FINAL — returns, refunds, or exchanges are not accepted:

  • Firearms (including frames and lower receivers) that have been transferred into the customer's possession
  • Ammunition and ammunition components
  • Electronics
  • Used, worn, or washed clothing
  • Blank cartridges

If a defect is discovered in any of these items, please contact the manufacturer directly. Grit Guardian will assist in locating the appropriate manufacturer's contact information.

Shipping Times

All standard shipments are FOB our warehouse. Typically, you can expect your order to ship within 5–7 business days. During peak seasons, shipping times may vary due to high order volume.

Serialized items (rifles, pistols, lower receivers, etc.) may take up to 7–10 business days to ship. Please verify that Grit Guardian has a copy of the FFL from your dealer before your order ships.

If your order has passed the expected ship time, please contact our Customer Service team and we will investigate the delay.

Order Tracking

To track your order, log in to your account, navigate to My Account → Order History, find your order, and click the tracking number. Tracking information is typically updated at the end of the business day after your order has been picked up by the carrier.

If the tracking number has not been added to your order, the carrier has not yet picked it up.

Firearm Shipments

We ship firearms only to valid, licensed FFL Dealers. Firearms cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box. The customer is responsible for knowing their state laws regarding firearm transfers. Contact your local FFL dealer with any questions.

The customer is solely responsible for any FFL transfer fees, including in cases where the customer fails a background check. Grit Guardian is not responsible for and shall not pay or reimburse any FFL transfer fees.

Grit Guardian carefully monitors orders and may refuse service to any individual or entity where such a sale would violate applicable law.

Order Restrictions

We ship firearms only to valid FFL Dealers. Firearms cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.

The customer is responsible for knowing their state laws regarding firearm transfers. Contact your local FFL dealer with any questions regarding the sale or transfer of firearms. Contact your local FFL before ordering a firearm to verify their transfer fee and to ensure they will receive your transfer. The customer assumes all responsibility and cost for returned firearms due to FFL refusal or failure to receive.

If you order a handgun, stockless shotgun, complete AR or AK receiver, or stripped lower receiver, you must be:

  • A legal resident of the state in which you are ordering.
  • 21 years of age or older to complete the transfer through your FFL.

Exceptions: Military personnel stationed in a state other than their legal residence may purchase firearms across state lines. Contact your local FFL receiving the transfer as you may have to provide proof of deployment, residence, etc.

If a customer wishes to change the FFL they want to use after the order has shipped, they will be additionally charged for the cost of re-shipping. If an FFL is not available at the time of delivery, the package will not be held at the carrier hub and will be returned to Grit Guardian. Additional shipping charges will apply to orders that need to be reshipped.

Magazine & Ammunition Ordering Restrictions

Magazine Restrictions

Grit Guardian abides by all state regulations regarding the sale of high-capacity magazines. We do not ship high-capacity magazines with firearms to states that have active magazine restrictions. We will not replace high-capacity magazines with state-compliant magazines, nor do we offer refunds in place of restricted magazines.

It is the customer's responsibility to understand state laws regarding magazine capacities. Customers ordering magazines that are illegal to own in their state will have their orders cancelled and will be charged a 5% restocking fee.

Magazine Restriction Exceptions: Law enforcement officers must provide both their credentials and a signed department letterhead stating that the magazine will only be used in the execution of their duties. Grit Guardian recognizes City Police Officers, County Sheriff Deputies, and State Police (including Highway Patrol) as law enforcement officers. Some states may not have LEO exemptions — please contact us before placing your order.

Ammunition Restrictions

Grit Guardian abides by all state regulations regarding the sale of ammunition. By purchasing ammunition, you agree and certify that:

  • You accept all policies described in our Terms of Use.
  • You are at least 21 years of age (for handgun ammunition) or 18 years of age (for rifle ammunition).
  • Your purchase does not violate any local, state, or federal laws.
  • You have not been convicted of any felony, a misdemeanor of domestic abuse, and you are not chemically dependent.
  • You have no legal restraint that would prohibit you from possessing, ordering, owning, or transferring ammunition.
  • You have never been committed to any mental institution or been adjudicated as mentally defective, and you will not sell ammunition to any minor.

The customer is responsible for knowing and following all federal, state, and local guidelines when purchasing and handling ammunition.

Other Ordering Restrictions

Knife Ordering Restrictions

Federal law prohibits the sale and shipment in interstate commerce of switchblades, out-of-front (OTF) knives, and other automatic opening knives, except under limited federal exceptions (e.g., sales to government procurement officers, Armed Forces, or licensed dealers). Grit Guardian will not sell any automatic knife without those conditions being met.

Knife laws vary significantly by state and locality. It is the customer's responsibility to verify compliance with all local knife laws prior to purchase.

Notice to California Customers – AB 1263 and SB 704

California has passed new laws — AB 1263 and SB 704 — imposing additional restrictions on firearm accessories, parts, and barrels.

AB 1263 imposes age and identity verification requirements and strict shipping requirements on certain firearm accessories and parts. Affected product categories may include pistol grips, thumbhole stocks, folding or telescoping stocks, flash suppressors, shrouds and handguards, and other firearm accessories identified by California as potentially usable in the manufacture of firearms. If this law goes into effect as written, Grit Guardian may be required to suspend direct sales of affected items to retail (non-FFL) customers in California.

SB 704 requires all firearm barrel transfers (including complete uppers and rifle kits) to California customers to be completed in person through a California firearms dealer. If this law goes into effect as written, all barrels, complete uppers, and rifle kits must be shipped to a licensed firearms dealer for transfer to you.

We strongly encourage California customers to contact their state legislators about these laws and to address any needs for affected products promptly. We will continue updating customers as this situation evolves.

Flamethrower Restrictions

Flamethrowers are generally legal in the United States without a background check; however, restrictions apply in certain states and localities. Grit Guardian does not ship flamethrowers to Alaska, Hawaii, California, Maryland, or the city of Warren, Michigan. Check your local laws — it is your responsibility to understand and adhere to all relevant regulations.
